Whether you have a digital camera or not, come and discover the possibilities offered by this exciting revolution. We will show you how to take digital photographs, download them to the computer and use Adobe Photoshop to enhance, manipulate and print out superb results.
Wed 3 & Thu 4 Nov, 2 day course 10.30am–5.30pm, £135 (£120)
An intensive two day beginners course teaching Photoshop skills and concepts, giving you the confidence in using this powerful image manipulation software. The course will show you how to work with layers, and resize images for printing and website use. There will be time allocated for questions and individuals needs will be catered for where possible.
Tue 9 & Wed 10 Nov, 2 Day course 10.30am–5.30pm, £135 (£120)
Using Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop, this two day course will cover the basic construction and upload of a website. Students will have the opportunity to create their own website and should bring content (text and images) that they wish to transform onto the web. Ideal for students, small businesses and self-employed. Some computer literacy is desirable and homework is recommended.
Sat 27 & Sun 28 Nov, 2 day course 11am–5pm, £135 (£120)
Award winning filmmaker Ashley Thorpe will cover the basic building blocks of successful scriptwriting. In this two day intensive course you will be offered practical advice to help you need to grasp the fundamentals of successful scriptwriting, learn to avoid common misconceptions and stumbling blocks. Ideal for those with a short or a feature they want to develop.

An intensive all day course over three weeks exploring ways of representing three dimensional space inhabited by the human body. Using drawing both as a 2D and 3D process, our tutor will encourage new ways of looking and capturing the figure. Basic materials, paper & charcoal provided.

Encouraging both technical and expressive approaches to life drawing, this course will cover a variety of drawing methods. The individual tuition offered is suitable for all levels of ability. Basic paper and charcoal are provided.

Bring along your favourite landscape photographs and develop them into art-works using drawing, collage, painting and abstraction. Limited places so book early!

The emphasis for this course is on experimentation & play with sculptural materials and their relationships with drawing to create an understanding of the importance of process in art making. Basic materials, paper & charcoal provided.

Working from a model & offering a real chance to explore the face. Bring your own acrylic paints, canvas/ boards & materials of your choice. Limited places so book early!

Encouraging both technical and expressive approaches to lifedrawing. The course will provide you with a strong portfolio of drawing methods. Suitable for beginners & those with some experience. Basic paper and charcoal provided.

These classes are being lead by Matt Macklin from Just4Funk, who have recently performed at Sadler’s Wells, London at ‘Breakin’ Convention: An International Festival of Hip Hop Dance Theatre’. Classes are designed for adults and will be a fun and challenging introduction to Breakin’. Beginners and those with no experience are welcome. Teachers are also welcome to attend in order to expand your repertoire but please note these classes are not intended to act as a qualification or teacher’s certification for this dance form.
