Ticket Sales for Events at Exeter Phoenix
Your order represents an offer from you to purchase tickets.
When you are making your ticket order online, you will be given an opportunity to review it before clicking on a final “submit” button. You will be free to review and make changes to any of your order details at any point up until you click on the final “submit” button.
Exeter Phoenix will only keep details of your bookings on file. Card details are not held on file.
Tickets are valid only for the date and time stated. Please check your tickets are correct when you receive them.
If you choose to have your tickets posted to you, they will be sent by first class post. If the event is less than 5 days away or you are based outside the UK then your tickets will be kept care of the box office and may be collected by providing the reference number given when booking.
Exeter Phoenix reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised arrangements or featured artists, to refuse admission and to request latecomers to await admission until a convenient break.
Admission is at the ticket holder’s own risk.
Exchanges & Returns We are unable to offer refunds but if an event has sold out we are happy to try and re-sell your tickets. Please note that we cannot guarantee the re-sale of your tickets. If they are re-sold, you will be refunded, less a handling charge of £1 per ticket. If the original tickets have already been collected or posted to you, they must be returned to the Box Office in order to benefit from this service. Money taken in respect of re-sold tickets will be held for 28 days, if not collected after this time, the money will be assumed to be a donation to Exeter Phoenix.
If the ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than Exeter Phoenix or one of the authorised sub-agents, it will become void and the holder may be refused entry or ejected from the venue.
The purchaser must give the correct name and billing address for the selected payment method. If these details are not correct we reserve the right not to process the booking.
In the event of a cancellation, Exeter Phoenix will refund the cost of the ticket minus the booking/transaction fee.
Exeter Phoenix or any associated organisations cannot be held responsible for any additional costs incurred by the ticket purchaser or their associates/agents in relation to event cancellation or non-appearance. Travel, accommodation, meals and all other ancillary products whether purchased or not purchased via the ticket supplier are purchased solely at the risk of the ticket purchaser and are not deemed to be connected to the event ticket or the ticket supplier.
Ticket Sales for Events In Other Venues
Condition of sale for Exeter Phoenix Ticket Agency tickets:
Tickets are sold by Exeter Phoenix Ticket Agency subject to the external promoters conditions of sale.
The external promoter reserves the right to alter the cast/line up or advertised arrangements as rendered necessary by any unavoidable cause.
Tickets cannot be exchanged or money refunded.
Exeter Phoenix will make every reasonable effort to contact purchasers in the event of a cancellation.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check whether the event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue, and Exeter Phoenix cannot guarantee that they will inform the customer of any changes to the event date, time or venue.
Please be in your seats promptly by the scheduled time of the performance – latecomers cannot always be admitted. For door times and start times please check with event Venue Box Office.
In the event of a cancellation by the organiser/promoter (ie a cancellation due to circumstances beyond Exeter Phoenix ticket agency’s control), Exeter Phoenix will only refund the face value of the ticket. Exeter Phoenix will use every reasonable effort to contact purchasers either by phone, email or in writing (using the details provided at the time of ordering) and advise them to return the tickets. Please note, however, it is the customer’s responsibility to check whether the event is going ahead at the scheduled date, time and venue, and Exeter Phoenix cannot guarantee that they will inform the customer of any changes to the event date, time or venue.
We advise the use of secure mail when returning tickets. On receipt, Exeter Phoenix Ticket Agency will refund the customer the face value of the tickets using the same method as used to purchase them.
No duplicate tickets will be issued to replace lost or stolen tickets.
Customers are advised to check their purchase upon receipt as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
It is the responsibility of the customer to inform Exeter Phoenix of any change of address, contact phone number or email address, both before and after receipt of the goods.
The right to admission to an event is reserved by the promoter and event venue, who may take health and safety, environmental and security concerns into account at their reasonable discretion, and may from time to time carry out security searches. Exeter Phoenix Ticket Agency would advise customers that no refunds will be offered to customers who are refused entry or ejected from a venue on account of late arrival, being (or appearing to be) under age*, declining to be searched, abusive, threatening, drunken or other antisocial behaviour (including smoking in no smoking areas), carrying offensive weapons or illegal substances, or making unauthorised audio, video or photographic recordings.
* Events and ticket types where an age restriction applies are clearly indicated during the booking process. Please ensure that you read all the information that applies to the event/ticket you are booking, and carry proof of age if appropriate.
If it becomes impractical to post tickets out, due to the proximity of an event or circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to make tickets available for collection at the venue immediately prior to the event. Customers will be notified by phone, email or in writing (using the details provided at the time of ordering) if this becomes necessary.
By ordering you agree that the tickets are for the personal use of you and your party only, and will not be resold or transferred. Any resale or attempt to resell the tickets at a price higher than purchased will result in your orders being cancelled without prior notification.
If tickets that are dispatched are returned to Exeter Phoenix Ticket Agency as “addressee unknown”, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
In order to prevent fraud and to protect both parties, you may be asked to provide additional information after your booking so that we can verify your purchase.
We reserve the right to cancel any order that further to investigation we deem to be possibly of a fraudulent nature. These checks may include, but not be limited to, a request to be provided with an original credit or debit card statement, attempts to contact a customer by telephone, reference to records to check for other fraudulent activity at an address.
Data is held and administered by Exeter Phoenix. If you have registered your interest with Exeter Phoenix and thereby given your consent, you may be contacted with relevant promotions, offers or information that you have expressed an interest in or that might be of interest to you. Bookings for external venues the associate venue or promoter may wish to use your data.
If you have registered your interest in receiving contact your personal data may be passed to other venues. Please note that data will only ever be passed to associate arts organisations.
