Shonen Knife are a ground-breaking all-female Japanese, pop-punk rock trio formed in Osaka in 1981, when Naoko first heard late ‘70’s punk-pop particularly the Ramones. Inspired, the band crafted their own idiosyncratic songs, fashioned brightly coloured outfits and DIY albums.
Land of the Giants are a funky upbeat, highly addictive six piece band from Plymouth in Devon, UK. Their music fuses many musical styles, from rock to reggae, ska to blues, with a sub heavy helping of dub in the mix.
In spring 2018 Jon Boden, former lead-singer of Bellowhead, will head out on the second leg of his Afterglow album tour. This is his first new release since leaving Bellowhead in May 2016 and features the newly extended Remnant Kings – a band that hasn’t performed together since 2012.
