Japanese animated fantasy film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli and based on Diana Wynne Jones' novel of the same name. A dramatic animated love story between Sophie, a cursed young woman, and Howl a notorious wizard who owns an ambulatory castle. Sophie befriends a demon in the castle that may break her curse.
