Exeter Contemporary Open 2010

Exeter Contemporary Open is one of the highlights of Phoenix Gallery’s annual programme. The exhibition showcases new work from a selection of the best emerging and established contemporary artists from across the country and beyond.

The following fourteen artists were selected from a hundreds of entries by Cathy Lomax (artist, editor and director of Transition Gallery), Domo Baal (director, DOMOBAAL Gallery, London) and Matt Burrows (Curator, Phoenix Gallery, Exeter). Each is eligible to receive the £1000 Overall Award, two £500 Additional Awards and a £200 Audience Choice Award (as voted for by the visiting public).
