Beer Notes

NORTHERN MONK BREWERY, LEEDS

Northern Star: Mocha Porter 5.2% ABV

Coffee flavours in dark beer are always a glittering combination. Northern Star Mocha Porter takes this to another level, with ground coffee beans blended to the brew, full of bitterness and hazelnut hints, along with rich dark chocolate and lactose sugar to balance this full bodied dark ale. A collaboration with Leeds’ North Star Coffee Micro Coffee Roasters, Northern Star will guide you to a new taste experience.

TINY REBEL BREWERY – NEWPORT

Cwtch: Welsh Red Ale 4.6% ABV

Probably the best word ever. Cwtch (rhymes with butch) can mean either cuddle or cubbyhole. Grab a glass, relax and cwtch up with this untraditional Welsh red ale – a perfect blend of six caramelly malts and three citrussy American hops.

It isn’t your average bitter – the hops do more to this deep amber coloured beer than just provide bite. Any old hop can do that! We’ve selected some of the most aromatic and tangy hops from the other side of the pond to give this red a fresh hit that complements the caramel flavours of the malts that gives this beer its colour. Drinkability and balance makes this beer.

FIRE BRAND BREWING CO – CORNWALL

Neipa 5.5% ABV

New England IPA if you didn’t guess from the name…This was our first go at producing a New England styled beer and what a beer it turned out to be! This little juice bomb was our most popular beer of 2018 and was even featured in Beer52’s South West Beer Box receiving huge accolade. With crazy amount’s of Citra, Mosaic and Equinot expect an abundance of tropical and stone fruit with a clean easy drinking bitter finish.

Vegetarian & Vegan Friendly!

West Coast IPA 4.5% ABV

Another first attempt beer style smashed leading to one of 2018’s most popular beers. picking up numerous awards in 2018 this WCIPA is a real beauty. huge amounts of Mosaic and Equinot leave you with a citrusy super easy drinking session beer.

Vegetarian & Vegan Friendly!

GYLE 59 BREWERY

Dorset GIPA 5.4% ABV

IPA with a subtle infusion of root ginger. Full bodied, hoppy and spicy.

 Toujours, 4.0% ABV

This is a Saison. It has its roots in a long tradition of Belgian farmhouse ales. The mixture of Pale and Vienna malts combine with three different English and German hops to perfectly compliment the earthy, peppery and spicy yeast flavours.

Nettle IPA, 5.3%

Hoppy, fruity and full of nettles. Brewed originally for the International Nettle Eating Competition held annually at The Bottle Inn Marshwood Dorset.
