KERNOW KING – “SPLANN!”

Have you ever stopped and asked yourself, “What does it mean to be Cornish?” No? Me neither…but then one day whilst rescuing a dog from Porth Beach back in the late 90’s, I did ask myself that question and lo and behold, it means everything (to me, anyway).

Being Cornish and/or living (and loving!) in the Duchy influences our every day lives and makes them better. Whether we’re writing rubbish on Facebook, ‘phoning the missus, talking to a customer advisor in India or learning to drive, our Cornishness (which for long periods of time can mean little) can occasionally and delightfully rear her beautiful head and smack us on the bottom and remind us of why we’re a great nation.

Kernow King shot to fame after his comedy version of the California Calling TV advert, fronted by Arnold Schwarzenegger, won him a once-in-a-lifetime trip to California (watch the winning video below). Kernow King’s new show, Splann! takes in the little things in our Cornish lives, including writing rubbish on Facebook, ‘phoning the missus, talking to a customer advisor in India or learning to drive and much more.

It doesn’t matter where you’re from or what you do, if you love the Kernow, the KK loves you.
