    HALF DAY WORKSHOP

Take a step back in time and prepare for a laugh at Studio 74. Enjoy this introduction to the key comedy figures of Hollywood Silent Film.

We will be exploring the lives and talents of Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Harold Lloyd alongside forgotten comedy roles of Fatty Arbuckle, Mary Pickford and Marion Davies ‘The Patsy’ The session will show classic scenes from a range of silent  gems, looking at comedy techniques and hilarious representations of America in the roaring 20s. The session includes a special screening of a pioneering silent cinema classic title.
