10-piece jazz meets contemporary music ensemble in spontaneous realisation of unconventional scores by Pete Canter and others as part of the Exeter Vibraphonic Festival. The ensemble will perform “Clock Works”, a 4-movement, semi-improvised suite controlled by stopwatches composed by Pete Canter, “Generation: Water Study (Wave)” based on the sound of electricity generation by wave power by Emma Welton and the live coding piece “The Cue Garden” by Tim Sayer during which the live sound will undergo real time electronic manipulation.
The ensemble is packed with talent from the South West jazz and classical music scene:
