The Pegasus Trio: Romance and Tragedy

Romance and Tragedy – A concert exploring all aspects of love, from the sublime to the tragic, to the downright ridiculous. 

The Pegasus Trio is a new ensemble formed by three professional musicians living in the Exeter region. Trained at top European conservatoires, the trio share extensive performing experience and a unique musical identity. The combination of voice, piano and violin gives an opportunity to explore and arrange a wealth of repertoire, whilst the sounds of voice and violin complement each other beautifully.

The trio began working together in June 2015 and have so far completed two recital series, both of which met with unreserved praise from audience members.

Programmes include an approachable selection of music for violin and piano, operatic arias, solo piano music and some wonderful pieces for violin, voice and piano.
