Young Singer Songwriter + Emerging Artists Platform
Every second Monday of the month
Aged 13 – 19 and thinking of becoming a musician?
Hone your songwriting and live performance skills at fun and laid-back sessions lead by songwriter Laura Loft and Soundlaunch expert Kate Graham. These monthly meet-ups come with a host of opportunities to get tips from musicians who have made it, meet people from the festival industry as well as the chance to perform to audiences at Exeter Phoenix.
Perfect for young musicians at any level…
Younger members will be taken under the wing of Laura Loft to learn the secrets of how to write great songs and perform them confidently to an audience.
A more advanced group will be lead by Kate Graham from Soundlaunch, with guest speakers and masterclasses on everything from creating your brand to making a record.
Both groups will have the opportunity to perform at a monthly open mic night at Exeter Phoenix, following the session.
