Exeter Phoenix is at the heart of the city’s cultural community. Our building offers spaces for artists to work, rehearse, play with ideas and make connections with like-minded people. It is also home to some wonderful partner organisations including:
The Exeter Daily is a website which features mostly upbeat and positive community news, provided by the community itself. They currently sponsor the Exeter Phoenix main auditorium which plays host to hundreds of music gigs each year.
The Exeter Daily is entirely free to use and is funded and run by former Express & Echo editor Marc Astley and several leading members of Exeter’s business community, among them Exeter Chiefs Premiership Rugby club chairman Tony Rowe OBE.
The website is not, nor will it ever purport to be, a like-for-like replacement for a traditional, local newspaper. It is a forum for people to share information with each other for free and without editorial influence.
Sound Gallery Studios is a fully equipped, air-conditioned professional recording studio situated in the basement complex at Exeter Phoenix. Located in the heart of the city, they offer high-end, affordable recording and production services, inspirational rehearsal and workshop spaces as well as live sessions to PhonicFM radio station for local and touring artists for local and touring artists, as well as voiceover recordings, sound design and work experience for young people age 14-18 yrs.
