Jammy Voo Present

Birdhouse

‘Nobody expects doomsday on a Tuesday’

A surreal comedy horror by the ‘joyously anarchic’ Lecoq-trained Jammy Voo.

Meet four forgotten survivors of the infamous bird attack in Hitchcock’s The Birds.

After taking refuge in the Coronet Cinema, the women have been stuck there ever since, caught in a state of post-traumatic bird shock. With doomsday forever lurking just outside, can they now survive their own personal apocalypses?

Sublime visual theatre, featuring puppetry and an original live music score.

Nominated for a 2013 Total Theatre Award

“An entertaining and smartly staged absurdist tragedy. Funny and dark.”
LYN GARDNER, THE GUARDIAN
