EVENTS TEMPORARILY POSTPONED
In response to the developing coronavirus situation in the UK, Exeter Phoenix is currently closed to the public. This is a temporary measure and we are taking this on a month-by-month basis. No events will be taking place during March, and the vast majority of events will be rescheduled for later in the year. We are following government advice and acting in the best interests of our visitors and staff.
Unprecedented closures like this with no confirmed government support will be hugely damaging for charities like Exeter Phoenix and many other sectors. If you are in a position to consider making a donation HERE, we would be extremely grateful.
Creative Hub Social
The home for Exeter’s creative network. Whether you make art, films, theatre, music, a bit of everything, or are still discovering your niche, we want to meet you and support your artistic development. Follow Exeter Phoenix Creative Hub on social media or come along to the next Creative Hub social to find out more.
Want to find out more about Exeter’s creative scene, talk about new projects, and indulge in a spot of creative networking? Get yourself down to a Creative Hub Social!
An informal get together in our Café Bar with a couple of free drinks on us. A chance for practitioners working across all art forms to network, share project ideas and meet audiences.
Everyone is welcome.
No booking required, just turn up.
This month Double Elephant Print Workshop will host a takeover of the Creative Hub Social.
It marks the launch of the new Double Elephant Gallery, an exciting collaboration between Exeter Phoenix and Double Elephant, located in the busy Café Bar at the heart of the building we share. This new gallery has a remit to present a programme of exhibitions that showcase critically engaged contemporary visual art grounded in printmaking practice and to provide an accessible platform for selling this work to the public.
As well as officially launching the gallery that evening, you can also try your hand at printmaking, meet some of the artists that will be exhibiting this year and have a tour of the Double Elephant studio in the basement of the building.
