Joining The Dots – Music and Film Workshop

Afrika Eye and the WOMAD Foundation present a participatory workshop exploring the exciting opportunities and challenges that arise when composing music for film. Musician and composer, Juwon Ogungbe will share examples of his work and the basic principles involved in scoring a piece of music for film.

Suitable for musicians and non-musicians alike!

Bring an instrument if you have one – some percussion will be provided

Young people 11+ are welcome but should be accompanied by an adult.

Don’t miss a rare opportunity to see the remarkable silent film Siliva the Zulu (1927) with a unique live score performed by British Nigerian musician and composer Juwon Ogungbe. Exeter Phoenix, Sunday 2nd November, 7.30pm.
