Workshop in afternoon – Widsith & Deor from The Phonic Drama Show present theatrical storytelling and spoken word enchantment
Featuring the unmissable international story star Clive Pig the Storyfella, the delicious Fire Springs from Bath presenting their haunting and exquisite Tales from the Saxon Shores, beautiful poetry show The Weather House by well-loved poets Susan Taylor & Simon Williams, the wonderful and acclaimed Substance & Shadow Theatre presenting Oscar Wilde’s The Fisherman & His Soul, and the enchanting hosts of The Plough Storytelling Circle Ros & John Wehner weaving their delicate and engaging magic. Plus of course Glastonbury Festival regulars Widsith & Deor themselves with their very own brand of rip-roaring theatrical storytelling! What could possibly be finer?

Phonic FM live broadcast
Phonic FM presenters will host their shows from the Café-Bar, so including coverage of the many activities underway as part of our big day of celebration.
Our celebration will also include free screenings of upbeat films with a radio theme at 4.30pm and 9pm, and we are keeping the film names under wraps for now…

Join a short tour of our radio Phonic FM studio, housed in the Exeter Phoenix basement, sign up for tours at our information desk at Exeter Phoenix’s entrance.
Community Radio Conference
There will also be a community radio station activists from across the South West will be gathering for a conference hosted by Phonic FM in Studio 74 from 10.30am-4pm.

2pm: Storytelling with Laura Lane from Exeter Library
5pm-7pm: Acoustic music from original ‘bubblegrunge’ songwriters Oliver Rose & Billy Brooks from The Allergens, plus Ed Hambly from The Echo Hotel.
