Start Stitching: Introduction To Hand Stitching

Have you ever wanted to learn to hand embroider but not known where to start? This class will take you through the essentials step by step showing you how to transfer your design, learn a variety of different stitches and create your own floral wreath and incorporate your own message into the centre. Your finished piece will make the perfect gift or decoration for your home!

All of the materials are included and there is enough for you to take away so that you can to continue to practice your new skills at home. You will receive fabric, thread, needle, needle threader, beads, and an instruction booklet.

Sophie uses the art of embroidery to explore identity, challenge stereotypes and to create body positive images.

She is keen to get people stitching she runs workshops and has produced kits to set people off on a stitching journey of their own.
