THE EMBEZZLERS

The Embezzlers are a 6 piece, 100% Live, SKA band based in Exeter, Devon. Playing the best in ska and 2Tone from Desmond Dekker, Toots and Jimmy Cliff to The Specials, The Selecter, Madness and The Beat etc. Oh… and there’s even a tiny little bit of The Clash thrown in for good measure!

Comprising of a bunch of highly experienced and extremely dedicated musicians, The Embezzlers have every base covered with a top notch horn section, killer keys, perfect off beat strings, crazy tight drums and all fronted by ‘Murph’… Front Man with more energy than a Gallon of Red Bull! If you can keep up with him then you are a true ‘Bezzler’!

Embezzlers gigs are an experience not to be missed. High energy, high spirits, lots of singing and most definitely lots of skanking going on. Crowd participation is by no means compulsory of course, but you won’t be able to help yourself tapping your foot, let alone coming right down the front and getting fully involved!

DELTA 88

An upbeat rockabilly trio with male and female vocals and strong original songs.

  • Julian Wood – upright bass
  • Nikki Clews – drums and vocals
  • Simon Clews – guitar and vocals

Delta 88 were formed in late 2014 in Devon, South West England. Taking their name from the 1956 Oldsmobile owned by bass player Julian, they began gigging in 2015 playing covers of 1950s rockabilly songs by artists such as Carl Perkins and Janis Martin.

By 2016 they were writing their own rockabilly material and Western Star Records released a 4 track E.P called Rockabilly Tales on vinyl. In 2017 a full album featuring 14 original songs was released by Western Star called Rocket Powered. Their songs have been played regularly on BBC radio and all over the world on online radio. Their second album, Firefly, was released in Jan 2019.
