What happens when Ivan marries a frog? A wicked racket! Urban meets forest. Patriarchy meets feminism. Baba Yaga meets Koschey the Deathless! A crazy collage of story, music, songs, and surreal projections v-jayed live. A girl-punk fairytale for adults only!

The Frog Princess Punked rocks storytelling! It is a hybrid hullabaloo of spoken word, distorted guitars, riotous songs, scorching drums, live animations. Wild Russian fairytale meets punk rock! It’s gonna be angry! It’s gonna be loud! Rebel with us!

Pioneering storyteller Sally Pomme Clayton, musicians Georgia Kalogeropoulou,  Dawn Rose, and digital artist Fotios Begklis are The Swamp Girls, creating a narrative about the dangers of annexing the wild and the wisdom of liberating the female!

The Swamp Girls

Sally-Pomme Clayton – story
Dawn Rose –  arrangements, drums
Georgia Kalogeropoulou – composition, guitar, sax, voice
