About The Film

Music documentary | UK | 2019 | 80 mins

White Riot is an eye-opening new documentary that follows the Rock Against Racism movement of the 1970s, revealing both the nastiness of the rising National Front at the time and the amazing power of music, activism and a real desire for social change at a grassroots level.

White Riot is a moment in time when music changed the world. When a generation challenged the status quo. It’s Woodstock meets the March on Washington, punk-style.

The film won Best Documentary at the BFI London Film Festival.

On Fri 29 May at 8pm, your ticket will also give you exclusive access live Q&A and musical performance, hosted by Kate Hutchinson, featuring Rubika Shah, Celeste Bell, Roger Huddle and Jenny Hamada.
