To celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary, Exeter Phoenix will be showing a digital restoration of this extraordinary, triumphant masterpiece about a mute woman’s rebellion in a newly colonised, Victorian era New Zealand.

Stars Anna Paquin and Holly Hunter won well deserved Oscars in these career-defining roles.
